TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

LT Electrical Control Panels

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Low Tension Panels are designed for reliable operation on 415 V ±6%, 50 Hz, 3 Phase, 4 Wire + Earth system.
Panels are manufactured using high-quality CRCA steel sheets and follow a modular, extensible design philosophy.

The panels are:

  • Floor-mounted, free-standing type

  • Suitable for indoor installation

  • Provided with top or bottom cable entry as required

  • Available in Fixed Type or Draw-Out Type configurations

  • Designed with dust-proof and vermin-resistant construction

In addition to our electrical panels, we also offer comprehensive earthing solutions that are essential for protecting electrical systems from faults and ensuring the safety of both people and equipment. Our earthing products are made from high-quality materials and are designed to provide effective and long-lasting protection. We understand the critical role that proper earthing plays in the overall safety and functionality of electrical systems, and we are dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible solutions.

SHEET METAL CONSTRUCTION

  • The main frame is fabricated from pressed and shaped cold rolled steel sections of minimum 14 SWG thickness

  • External covers and enclosures are made from CRCA sheet steel, properly leveled and free from surface defects

  • Doors and covers are manufactured from minimum 1.6 mm thick CRCA sheets

  • Structural stiffeners are provided wherever required to enhance rigidity

  • All cut-outs are machine-finished, accurate in shape, and free from sharp edges

  • The complete structure is self-supporting, rigid, and distortion-free

SURFACE TREATMENT & POWDER COATING

  • All sheet metal components undergo a multi-stage surface preparation process to ensure superior corrosion resistance:

    Pre-Treatment Process:

    1. Degreasing

    2. Water Rinsing (Multiple stages)

    3. De-rusting

    4. Phosphating

    5. Passivation

    6. Drying in oven at 90°C – 100°C for 10–15 minutes

    Powder Coating:

    • Electrostatic powder coating is applied up to 60 microns thickness

    • Curing is done in an oven with metal temperature around 180°C and oven temperature 200°C – 210°C

    • Uniform coating finish in customer-specified shade

PAINTING (ALTERNATE OPTION)

  • Pre-treatment includes degreasing, rinsing, de-rusting, and phosphating

  • Application of high corrosion-resistant etch primer

  • Final coating with synthetic enamel / air-drying paint

  • Smooth and durable surface finish
